Are you feeling isolated and experiencing difficulty in relationships, but can't understand why?
Are you feeling stuck in the same patterns and feel that you don't know how to escape them?

These are issues that many people face. You are not alone. It is my passion to help you walk through these trials and come out the other side better than you have ever been, happier than you ever thought you could be, and more complete than you once were. This is not only possible, but quite attainable when you enlist the help and counsel of a professional.

Everyone encounters difficulties at one point or another. I believe that those difficulties can make us stronger and encourage us to look at life differently–to see life in a more positive and beneficial light. Perhaps you are struggling with a painful situation and cannot seem to find the purpose it is serving in your life. Professional counseling can be the bridge that allows you to not only work through life's challenges, but also realize your own strengths and resiliencies.

I can help you by providing a safe environment and guided exploration of your strengths, options, challenges, and needs. I have experience with many types of people including
individuals, couples, families and children. As a couples counselor, I have 25+ years of marriage to my husband to add to my credentials. In addition, I have worked as a domestic violence and sexual assault crisis counselor as well as assisted with various trauma issues with children, their parents, teachers and counselors at both the middle and high school levels.

I can help you with
trauma, grief, loss, anxiety and depression, co-dependency, addictions, marital and family challenges. I am trained in Emotional Transformation Therapy® (ETT) an intervention known for rapidly and gently decreasing reactions from emotionally charged events, reducing anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, and reducing headaches and chronic pain.

My professional goal is to provide you with a compassionate, safe, non-judgmental place to express your deepest thoughts and feelings, explore options to resolve the challenges you are facing, and support and encourage you as you face them. I believe that willingness to face the hardships in your life and change them will lead toward personal growth and maturity. In therapy, you will gain insight, wisdom, and practical coping skills to face your challenges with confidence so that you can have a more stable home life, a more rewarding career, and more fulfilling relationships.

Please contact our office to set up a free 20 minute phone consultation prior to making your first appointment. I look forward to taking this journey with you. Contact me here.
