Sometimes the ground in your life can feel a little shaky, but other times it can feel like a complete landslide. Perhaps you want to make changes in your life and know that you need to, but you don’t know where to start. Or maybe you have been making decisions that aren't helping you to become who you want to be and you can't understand why you do that. Everybody gets stuck at some point; just don't let yourself stay there. We can work through these things together to get you unstuck. We were never intended to walk through life alone, and sometimes we need a trained professional to give us new “tools for our life-skills toolbox.” I can help you with that.

Life is full of relationships and relationships are all about connection. We all want to feel connected and truly known by the ones we love. At times we find that we have tried so hard to show our love to someone, but they just didn't see it or feel it the way we intended it – or they can't or won't reciprocate in the way that we need it. Families form our very foundation where we learn how to love and be loved, even if some of what we learned was less than ideal. Our family is what shapes us and our ideas about love and relationships. Therefore, if we want to have healthy and happy relationships, and who doesn't, then we often need help understanding what is beneficial from the families in our past, what isn't, and what to do about it.

As a therapist, it will be my joy and honor to assist you with whatever struggles you are experiencing. As a wife of over twenty-five years and mother of three children, I have a lot of life experience. With curiosity and compassion, I am here to walk alongside you. My goal is to provide a space for you to feel accepted and valued. It is in that place of expressing your true thoughts and feelings that healing can begin.

While we can change without improving, we cannot improve without changing. Sometimes that will mean that we need a trusted counselor to shed light on things in our past that may not have been beneficial to us. This does not mean that we only look for the negative things from our childhood, but rather we explore the good things, too, because all of those experiences can play a role in who we are today. So, whether you have recently discovered a buried family secret or simply need help navigating a new phase of life, you don’t need to feel alone. Let’s walk through it together.

Please contact our office to set up a free 20-minute phone consultation prior to making your first appointment. I look forward to speaking with you soon. Contact me here.

Sincerely,
