I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping you thrive despite difficult circumstances. Whether you are trying to work through some current marriage challenges, hoping to recover from a divorce, are part of a blended family trying to find your balance, or are an individual wanting to work through any number of challenges, I will journey with you to discover and address issues in a healthy way.

I understand that relationships can be difficult at times. We long to have relationships that are fulfilling and satisfying but we often find ourselves disappointed when challenges arise and we don't know what to do. It would be my privilege to walk with you through any struggles you are facing to help you create the relationship you have been longing for.

Positive change in marriage is hard and I am prepared to help you navigate the changes that need to occur in your life to achieve positive changes. I recognize that not all partners come into couples counseling with the same level of commitment to change and that it is often uncomfortable to talk to someone new about struggles in your relationship. I will do my very best to create a safe, welcoming environment so that each person feels that they are a valuable part of the process as well as heard and understood without judgment. I will be an advocate for your marriage and will help you determine the kind of life you want to build together.

I also understand that sometimes marriages end and the feelings that remain can feel unbearable. I can help you work through the recovery process after a divorce and help you to feel hopeful about the future. We will process this painful event in your life and find healthy ways to keep moving forward and finding joy again.

I draw wisdom from my education and training as well as from my life experience. As one who has learned to thrive following a divorce and remarriage, I understand from a uniquely personal perspective the pain you are experiencing. My passion is to help those who are hurting in their marriage, desire a better marriage, or are trying to heal from divorce.

Blended families can be especially challenging, and many people need support and insight into this unique family dynamic. Unrealistic expectations and demands can quickly derail your goals for a cohesive new family unit. I can help you understand the challenges from each family member's perspective and provide insight into how you can best navigate your unique family situation.

Last, but not least, we all struggle with individual challenges. Maybe your individual challenges are holding you back from enjoying friends, or family, or your work life. It is important to me to help you discover ways to thrive despite your circumstances.

Together we will work toward your goals and strive for a more fulfilling and meaningful life no matter what your situation!

Please contact our office to set up a free 20-minute phone consultation prior to making your first appointment. I look forward to speaking with you soon. Contact me here.
